Donations Assessor
Ensuring community groups and organisations
get the advice they need on how best to apply for donations,
is the job of the Trust’s donations assessor,
Alison Perrin.
With over 30 years of local community
service to her credit - 28 of those with the Citizens'
Advice Bureau - former Bureau co-ordinator and volunteer,
Alison, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Born in Dunedin and educated in Dunedin
and Christchurch, Alison has a Bachelor of Arts (BA),
Diploma in Recreation and Sport and a Certificate in
Women’s Business Studies. A registered music teacher,
she has recently completed a Post-graduate Diploma in
Management for Not-for-profit Organisations.
Having made Rotorua ‘home’
for over 30 years, Alison and her husband, John, have
three children – one at university, one in Hamilton,
and one working in England. She enjoys reading, gardening,
crafts, music, logic puzzles and travelling, and spending
time with family and friends. She is also an avid Black
Caps fan.
